# Water jet design for a railing

These were interesting to say the least. A customer gave me the pictures and wanted us to use them in some railings. So I pasted the pictures and went to town tracing these out with the spline tool. Took about 2 hrs per drawing but was really easy. I go to send it over to our water jet guy, and it crashed his computer. Apparently the spline tool adds waaaayyy too many points or lines and totally overloaded his system. I had to redraw them both using arcs or circles. The tangent and trim tools became very good friends. It definitely made things slower. 4 hours per drawing this time, but it worked and I’m pretty happy with the end result.
