We built a parametric laptop stand and printed it (and it looks cool!) If you haven’t seen it yet, the build video and write-up are below.

The best part is that since it’s parametric, if set your screen size, the whole model resizes. The modeling part of the build is available in the article, but here I wanted to show you the process of printing and assembling it as, spoiler alert, it wasn’t easy 😬

Anyway, check the video here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rrekbn9-Zvw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rrekbn9-Zvw)

The article is available here: [How to design a parametric laptop stand for 3D printing](https://www.shapr3d.com/content-library/how-to-design-a-parametric-laptop-stand-for-3d-printing)

And the model parts can be downloaded from our Printables page: [https://www.printables.com/model/1839122-parametric-laptop-stand](https://www.printables.com/model/1839122-parametric-laptop-stand)

And this isn’t a final version! Tolerances are tuned to our printers, the notch shape could be better, the fold could be tighter. The Shapr3D file is in there so you can change whatever you want. If you improve it, do post it here. We’d like to see where it goes 😉
