# Weird Behavior with Tapered Chamfer

Hello! Forcing a symmetrical chamfer to be non-symmetrical can easily end in weird results, but there are some other ways to get to the result you are looking for. @TigerMike has shown a nice solution in your [another post](https://discourse.shapr3d.com/t/chamfer-double-taper/13956), but please do not forget that the Sweep tool can also be a helpful choice!
