# What do I do with old sketches?

I’m brand new to the world of CAD and loving Shapr3D so far.
One thing I’m confused about is what to do with sketches after the objects have been extruded. Is it typical to save and hide them or just delete them? I feel like I have a bunch of sketches cluttering things up in the workspace. I just don’t know enough to know if keeping them around is smart or unnecessary.

You can go to Folder view and hide them, or delete them. I find it best to hide them, as I have used them again in other designs.
