# Why did opacity go?

I remember being able to set an opacity level for solids in earlier versions.  
This feature was incredibly useful for visualizing internal structures, detecting design flaws, and creating clearer presentations. Please bring it back!

You still can! In visualization scroll to the very bottom, should be labeled default transparent material
