I am a graphic designer with 40+ years of experience. I am also a professor of graphic design with over 20 years of experience teaching the fundamentals of the discipline, Adobe Creative Cloud, and advanced design thinking. I have been fascinated with 3D printing since it burst onto the scene 15 years ago. I dabbled with 3D emulated imagery in Illustrator before the function was melded into Illustrator—it was Adobe Dimension (that was 20+ years ago), and it was better when it was a stand-alone application.

As a creator and seeker in many design disciplines and software and hardware areas, I am continually intrigued by making. The bottom line is that I’m a tool nerd and love and know the challenges of continued learning. This makes me better at my craft and as a professor.
