I am not new to 3D, having taken a number of classes back in the 90’s at UCLA. I am, however, new to 3D modeling with the intent of printing out models. This year I started a small company, Vintage Loco Works, with the intent of making and selling my 3D O scale (1:48) narrow gauge railroad related items. I am currently prototyping various trains and related objects. Shapr3D and iPad have been a very enjoyable experience. It fits my needs very well.
