Hello world.
I am super, super new at 3d modelling, but like all of you, I can imagine and want to create, so here I go, down the learning hole.
I do not currently even have an iPad as I am on the fence as to how the Windows Beta will fare. I was actually trying to back quietly out of the Apple world until this showed up. I’m on a 2013 Air.
My world is pretty mobile so I have been caught under the spell of mobile CAD and a really user friendly interface, which as a good commercial will do, has sold me on Shapr.
I have poked my nose into Fusion 360 and Squinted and been intimidated by Rhino3d, Tinkercad and Blender.
What I am having a really hard time researching is what other CAD apps will run on the iPad or is it a one off and Shapr only solution at this point, although my gut tells me that there will be some scrambling to catch up as it seems the natural progression. Much like renewable energy and farming, but I see how that is going.
Sorry to bore you all, if you indeed read this at all and thanks for the great reading and learning material.
