Retired software engineer/analyst. Never used CAD professionally but have been searching for a good, affordable hobbyist program ever since I first encountered AutoCad about 35 years ago. Been using SketchUp for the occasional woodworking project and hope to experiment with 3D printing as soon as I can afford a printer.
