As long as you don’t sell it. If you sell the product the game changes. In the US it’s pretty costly. One of my potential Bluetooth products I went from LiPo to AA’s to avoid the certs above and beyond the EMI. That’s also why I have been using Seeed XIAO series MCU’s. They handle the wifi/ BT certs. Reduces cost tremendously for a one man show should I actually make a sellable product. I’m trying!
