Making a brick wall texture for 3d printing

Hi Guys!
I am trying to make a mini house/shop and 3d print it. Best way to go about it is to sketch it all up on here and then cut it so that I print each wall individually laying down for better quality. Totally fine with that.
Now I’m getting along find with this but am having trouble making brick texture onto my walls. I thought about making sort of like a stamp thing but that feels tedious to make 100 horizontal lines, then 100 vertical lines and THEEEEn indent it!
Does anyone know of a simpler way to do this? I must be missing something!

And thank in advance!

Hey CouriousMissy,
I would suggest building a block representing the wall, building a grid representing the grooves and subtract them.
In order making life easier you can use linear patterns instead of drawing hundrets of lines.
I made you a fast/little sample here during lunch-break:
Another Brick in the Wall.shapr (85.8 KB)
The scale of it is 1:10 right now, feel free to scale it to your needs.
HTH.
Cheers Matt

Right! That was not lost on me either. I was just listening to Pink Floyd yesterday. It came full circle.
