Need help with tapering a thread

Hello, fairly new to Shapr3D and in need some help if someone is able to give me some pointers. I am trying to taper the tops of the thread to be inline with the tapered top of the bolt as seen in the photos. I am not sure what would be the best way to remove the parts of the thread to make the tapper match the bolt top.

Hi Lewis,
Try this:

  • Select the top conical face of the bolt
  • Select the Split Body command (in the ellipsis menu)
  • Select the threaded bolt
  • Click Done
  • Select and Delete the top portion of the thread
