Angle on a ring

I had to remake the model from my previous post. Because I altered to size I couldn’t reliably do what I did last time. Is there a way to basically cut a ring on an angle?

I can’t think of a way to "subtract” reliably to achieve this effect. Any tips?

Create a Triangular Closed Shape and Revolve it about the Centre of the Ring.
