I use Shapr3D for machining and need coordinates, preferable from a user defined origin.
Look at the drawing of my project, quite complicated. Coordinates (X,Y) would be more handy.
Look at the bottom left corner for an example.
User adjustable font size would be handy too!
Thanks,
Serge

PS the example should display NEGATIVE values. My mistake
I have the same concern and would find it very practical and productive to be able to use coordinates relative to the grid origin in relation to an anchor point on any drawing or object. The software should provide both standard anchor (center, top right or left, bottom right or left as examples) and a user defined anchor point. Placing objects or drawings relative to the grid 2D or even in space, relative to one another wlould be extremely effective. With kind regards, Peter
PS: Shaper Tools, the builder of Origin, a very handy portable CNC type router, has a quite basic design software called โStudioโ that uses coordinates to place objects on the grid. Nice concept.
