Elipse not revolving

I’m having a hard time with the elipse tool, every time i draw one trying to make a disc shape by revolving it would not work. I have tried also by sketching the shape with other tools and got the same result. Why is this not working?? I need to make de disk to finish my design.

I use revolve a lot so I don’t get what is going on.

Perhaps do half the ellipse, then revolve?
