Hollow cones for injection molded part

Hi there

New user here and I”m loving this compared to Sketchup!

How do I create a hollow cone?

I’m trying to create a number of hollow cones upon a rectangular base. I can make a cone with a thin thickness using concentric circles and revolve. But I’m looking to make these as thin as possible.

If you experts can suggest some answer and paste video / the gif thing, that would be really helpful.

Looks like I can use shell and set a very thin thickness. If you have other suggestions please share! Thanks

Greetings,

Do this- create your rectangular base. Create a cone that will ultimately be hollow. Translate (move) the cone into the base and use the Subtract tool.
