I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for how to terminate a screw thread. I’ve tried a scaling, rotating, revolving, but can’t quite get what I’m after. Would be awesome if there were a revolve/loft combined option. Any suggestions?

Why not extend it and then cut it off by subtracting off a horizontal flat plate?
