You need to save the work from your iPad to some form of cloud. i.e.: iCloud for example. Then access it from your PC.

Install FE File Explorer on your iPad, there add a connection to a share you like (NAS, PC, Linux … many options) - mount this share on your PC or Mac and voila - all set.

Automatic cloud syncing will come to the Windows version eventually. It’s already in beta for sharing between a Mac and an iPad (or multiple Macs and multiple iPads).
