I imported an image which will be a sticker on the real product. While constructing, that image is visible as expected (image 1). When I switch to visualization mode it disappears. Is there a way to keep the image even in the presentation rendering?
This is marked “solved”, but I feel like one of those perennial topics that is being ignored. All the users that have been waiting YEARS for an actual solution would like an update. At this point, texturing anything in shapr3d is a waste of time because the viz tools are so basic and don’t appear to be a priority. These days we just tell our students to import their models in Blender for texturing and viz. We are considering removing shapr3d from the curriculum for this reason.
Thanks for your reply. The larger issue my post was focused on is that the viz tools are extremely basic and have a lot of unexpected bugs that have persisted for years.
Have you tried viewing images behind glass materials? Because they don’t work behind glass materials. Also, if you try to use multiple transparent materials they don’t show through each other. A transparent object behind another transparent object will become invisible. Which is super frustrating. Please fix it.
