Parametric 3D Pattern Issue

Hi everyone

I am trying to learn and experiment with Parametric workflow and stuck an issue. I have a variable called qty with default value 1. This variable is used in pattern qty and then mirrored across. Now when the qty is increased, all I see is the original body on the mirrored side. However, if I mirror with qty set to 2 and then increase or decrease, the mirrored side works fine.
