Recently I an getting a message box pop up on opening the application that says Sign-In Required asking me to enter my password. This was not happening before. Is this something new or should I be suspicious?

Could you please attach a screenshot of that dialog that’s showing up for you? Is that the system notification asking you to sign in to your iTunes account?
