Trouble getting vertices to connect correctly in a loft

I’m trying to do a simple loft of two parallel profiles. The problem is that one side of the resultant body has a twist in it. The number of vertices is the same between the two profiles, but one profile appears to have one too few automatic guide points, so I can’t simply move the points. I can’t figure out how to force guiding by explicitly connecting one vertex from each profile. The process is very convoluted. Any help would be appreciated.

The entire problem is caused by the sketches. There are no tangencies, parallel lines are not parralel, and the dimensions are a mess. Fix the sketches, and you’ll get a clean, smooth Loft.

The sketches were generated from mesh object projections. I cleaned them up quite a bit. I’ll try setting tangent constraints and see if that helps.

And this is the root of the problem.

I was able to fix it by doing orthogonal mirror operations on both profiles.
