2D .AI file onto curved 3D model

Hi All,

Could anyone help direct me to perhaps the solution for this? I have a 2D .AI vector graphic that I’d like to put into a curved edge of a 3D model. When I attempt to put this AI graphic on, it won’t take the design correctly.

Any direction would be great, thank you for your help!!

Add new nodes to the curve of AI documents, the more the better.
