Dear Shapr3D team
My feature request is a way to turn object occlusion off in USDZ export and preview.
When you export a big structure, like an environment (a car interior, a room, or a cabin, for example), and want to preview and export in USDZ in 1:1 scale, to see the interior, many times the occlusion feature in the USDZ file works against the experience of augmented reality.
Would be nice to just be able to export USDZ without occlusion maps, sometimes.
Now, the default is to export with occlusion, so if you want to experience the inside of a big structure, you need to open the file in a vast open space without any objects around.
The ability to turn occlusion off would permit to experience and see these structures inside a regular office, without real objects popping in the front of the project.
Would be a terrible idea to just have a on/off occlusion switch when exporting?
Best regards
M
