When exporting certain designs to .USDZ / ARKit the files are unable to be opened because certain texture resolutions overload the memory and don’t allow models to be viewed in quicklook. This seems to be most common with the wood textures but I haven’t tested many other textures outside of wood and metal. Currently when this happens I export from Shapr3d in .USDZ, convert that file to a .ZIP to edit the contents. Reduce the resolution of the textures and recompile the file using Reality Composer.
Ideally Shapr3d could flag and reduce the texture resolutions when exporting to .USDZ, or could notify the user and allow manual texture resolution reduction in Shapr3d before exporting
Having to manually reduce texture resolution can be a long process depending on the variety of textures use and negatively effect a generally great workflow
