Can no longer load more complex designs

I’ve been trying to load some of my designs today and can no longer load the more complex ones. Normally there is a short lag in loading these designs, but today the designs would never load. The app stayed on the “processing” screen for at least 4 minutes before I gave up (I timed it).

Here are the troubleshooting steps I’ve taken so far:

  • I checked my internet connection and it is quite good (835mbps down and 940mbps up).
  • I rebooted my computer.
  • I tried importing the design I had previously exported as a .shapr file.
  • I checked my subscription (EDU expires on 11/15/2026).
  • Repaired the app
  • Reset the app
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

My App Version is: 26.0.10296.0 #c080ced1 and Installation Type: Website.

Windows 11.

I’m in a pinch and need to access my designs!

Cesar was very helpful with this issue. I was able to load my designs and continue working. The folks at Shapr3d are obviously and continually refining the software. Cesar was also helpful in offering suggestions for simplifying the model. Thanks!
