Hi, up until now I have been modelling with either Solidworks or Maya and like the look of Shapr3D, however some projects working with other people demand that I use these other programs so that we can share and develop files between us. Would there be any future moves towards compatibility between Shapr3D and programs such as Solidworks?

Hi, you can export as STEP or IGES. Especially tool lime Solidworks should have not problem with reading these files. I think even Maya is able to read them out of the box.

Yes, as Tom said, STEP IGES and STL are industry standard file formats, and supported by every major 3D modeling system. We have many users who are using Shapr with SolidWorks, Rhino, MODO, Fusion or Maya etc.
