Convert a sketches (lines) of this type to be able to extrude it

Hello

Above all, I want to apologize for my English which will not be perfect.

First, I want to apologize for my English which will not be perfect.

I am new to Shapr3D. In the image below, you can see that I have a path that goes around my 3D object. I couldn’t get it to work with the “move edges” feature.

I would like to be able to successfully extrude the part between my 3D object and my plotter, to make it an “edge”.

What is the technique to do this?

THANK YOU

Hi,

It seems like you used construction lines. Select all of them, and in the menu in the right side, click the “Make regular” button.

It will generate a sketch filling (if the sketch is closed), which you can extrude. If the edge of the body isn’t on the same plane as your sketch, you will need to project it to your sketch plane first.

Thank you.
I don’t know why I put this into construction line
How can I do it? I have the same problem. The drawing is closed on the same line, but that’s it.

If you don’t see the shaded sketch it usually means that the loop is not closed somewhere. Check here first. It may look closed but there is often a minuscule gap between the endpoint and the lines or other endpoint.
