I’m wondering if Shapr3d would work for the following:
importing a DXF file from a dimensional scanner, using that DXF as a guide to draw a 2d floor plan over the locked DXF import (in order to keep everything to the exact scale front the dimensional scanner).
then I can export the 2d sketch into Rhino to finish up the project.
I think the main reason i would prefer using shapr3d for the initial 2d in stead of using Rhino would be the ease of drawing with the apple pencil to get the 2d sketch done based on the rough dxf file provided by the dimensional scanner.
Any guidance or workaround are encouraged, or maybe shapr3d is not the tool for the job just yet…
