Earth globe puzzle

Hi, dear friend.
Could you please to tell me in which program do you record the screen with the fixation of clicks (red marks)?

Go to Settings, and scroll down to Shapr3D. Turn on Show pencil touch points. Restart Shapr3D. Use the built in iPad screen recording.

Thank you very much!

@Chayanne Thank you for sharing the model. But will it spin on its axis… Continuous orbit in Shapr3D anybody, This is the perfect model for it.

Woah genius workflow!, well done!!

Thank you for sharing all of this. You have done a remarkable job.

Great and fun design, but those pieces won’t fit together. They will interfere. Is that what you found when you 3D printed them? The problem is the puzzle pieces work in 2D, but when on a sphere the tabs with edges that are even partially facing the center of a piece will cause interference. That interference will prevent you putting all the pieces together. You can see the interference more easily in the tool if you make the shell very thick and then try to move one piece out. You can even move it part way out and subtract it from the surrounding pieces to better understand the interference.

It can be made to fit if you make sure the outer surfaces of the tabs never faces back toward the center of the piece, not even partially. If the center of the piece can see the outside of the piece edge, it will interfere and bind. So it can be made to work, but it won’t look like exactly like a traditional puzzle piece.

The wikipedia logo has the same problem. I wonder if that is why they show it only partly assembled.
