What is the best way to explode an assembly and return all of the components back to its original position?
You could put the assembly in a folder, create a copy of it and then explode it how you want- then show and hide either folder.

It would be awesome to have the functionality to save it as a view so any changes to the bodies would be updated to that view.

Automatic exploded view would be a great additional feature as would a cut list or at least the capability of creating a list of all the individual components of a design with or without dimensions.
The exploded view could then be saved much in the same way 2D views are saved, including the sync between 3D and 2D.
