Sorry if this question has been answered already, I tried searching. I am no means an expert.
I created a simple part, 80mm x 200mm with a hole pattern on top and on the bottom a cut out U so I can create cart forks for an indoor cart. When I export the sketch it doesn’t have the bottom part at all. The hole pattern on top is there, but the bottom is just open.
I’m assuming that what is being exported is the sketch plane instead of the body shape (hopefully that makes sense). So what comes out is just a block. When I export a drawing, it is obviously there, but what I want is a 2D outline of the body so I can send it for laser cutting.
