Does the HQ export have accurate curves. Just having fun in the app but with medium quality curves are very poor when exported.

Yes, high quality is very high quality. 
Maybe we should rename it to ultra-mega-quality

We should but we don’t. But with HQ export it is guaranteed that the angular deflection will be less than 0.05 degree for STL export.
