Is it possible to break apart, or separate, the control handles for a fit spline point. Or do they always have to act in unison, remaining tangent?

Thanks! Yes, it should be part of control point functionality and I did find a bit of a work around, which is to create the point as a corner, but for that you have to know ahead of time that that is what you want.
