hello all, i am new to the community as well as to shapr 3 D
I got "invalid seletion " when trying to extrude a surface
any idea what’s going on?

What do you mean by “invalid seletion”?

Screenshot or even better video could help understand your problem easier.

I’ve also had this happen. Appears at first glance a bug as usually deselecting then re-selecting allows it to function again. I’ve also noticed it on parts with irregular geometry (non parallel faces) it can depend where it is selected much the same way measurements can alter.
