This is basically done by adjusting the zoom-level…
…meaning zooming in and out.
If you have the desired gridspacing, you may lock the grid size.

Hi Matt, thanks for your response.
I notice on your screenshot you have 1mm grid spacings. I have 10mm.
Can i change to 1mm or are you saying the grid spacing changes when i zoom in and out?

Hi Nick,
Just zoom in until the value changes to 1mm. That is (the only) way to change the gridsize (afaik).
