I need to enlarge an object to print in the correct size. What factor would that be?
This time I can not just add 0.5mm to fit as it’s the whole object that has to be enlarged to counter printing shrink.
What ratio are you enlarging your object to print against shrinking? Really dont want to reinvent the wheel here. A ratio to start from would be nice.
Hello @Peter_b,
The many many variables that we discussed in the topic below are still blockers for stating a uniform factor that can be applied even as a starting point.
Please try some settings with the specific material and printer you have. That way you can collect some data to start with using the specific setup.
