This is an absolute beginner question. I have a body consisting of a triangular plate, with some thickness. I need to change the position of one of the vertices of the triangle. How do I do this? Do I have to go back to the original 2D triangle and modify this, then re-extrude it into a 3D object? or what?
If this is in a tutorial or help page, just pojnt me to the right page.
Thank you - Rowan
You might be able to use the Move tool and move the point. Try that first.
Per @Stephen ’s suggestion, use the Move/Rotate tool.
I tried to do this, but it turned the vertex into an edge, so instead of a triangle it became a trapezium. How do I avoid this? Maybe the original shape had two points very close together. If so, how do I merge these without going back to the original 2D sketch?

I have now understood how this works and got it to the shape I need. Thank you for all the advice.
