I want to move a circle on a sketch by 20mm.
when I move bodies the distance is shown and I can type in a number afterwards, but I am missing an equivalent for moving 2d items on a sketch.
Thanks for any advice…

Select both items [highlight light Blue] and move in the same manner.
If one of the items is centred on Grid drag the appropriate Arrow and it will snap to the Grid.
You can adjust the Grid Spacing to make this easy.
If nothing Sketched is Centred on the Grid use Transform > Move/Rotate and type in the measurement.
Not sure what you mean by both items. I had a circle on the sketch I wanted to move by 20mm, but when I moved it no indication was visible about how far I had moved it.
It finally occurred to me to draw a 20mm line starting level with the circle center. I could then move the circle to be level with the other end of the line and then delete the line. It worked but I have to believe there is a better way.

Sorry for the confusion.
Select the item [highlights light Blue] and move as follows.
If the item is centred on Grid drag the appropriate Arrow and it will snap to the Grid.
You can adjust the Grid Spacing to make this easy.
If the Sketch is not Centred on the Grid use Transform > Move/Rotate and type in the measurement.
That’s what I needed! Thank you.

You are most welcome, glad we got there.
