I have no idea how to create 3D synapse and neuron models since shapes are irregular.

For more organic shapes, it’s usually the Loft tool that provides the best solution. We’ve just recently published a great tutorial that explains its usage via a real-life example. Note that to make the most of it, you might want to check out the parametric beta version as that allows you to adjust the underlying sketches and see the lofted shapes change in real-time.

Thank you for the answer. I will just try loft tool first with my current version.
