Hey Guys i need Help.
Im new to the programm but understand it pretty good already.
But now i have a problem that i cannot solve and dont find a solution in the FAQ.
I want to create a kind of a “Dice”
With + and - on one block and with numbers on the other block.
Now i was already able to create the hole in one object and extract the other object.
Now i wanted to do like a wedge so i can put them togehter so that the smaler object with + and - can rotate in it.
I have to create a section in the circle on the larger object.
Does someone know how to do it?
Hi and welcome !
Perhaps try > Transform > Align
Well if you contracted someone to do it for you they would want to know a few things. Most important is how do you want it manufactured. This greatly affects the design. Will it be printed or injection molded or machined?
The pic below might be of help.
Here is a gear fidget I remixed to make the parts easier to snap off the card, make it spin better, easier and more reliable to assemble. Notice the snap in mechanism
The original design did not have shoulders to give the gear clearance to spin, the gears were sharp witch added to the problem. The parts did not separate easily and the posts used friction press fit. So I remade it my way. I print them for my partner to give to her students.
