Been trying to connect 2 relatively basic 4 sided shapes using a loft with guides for hours, and keep getting very random and different issues. Sometimes the guides will simply not work, but if I redraw them, suddenly it’s fine.
I finally got all 4 guidelines to work with giving an error, but now it’s randomly deciding to add in additional points for no reason, and I can’t get rid of it.
I’ve often had problems with Loft giving me headaches, and I can normally just play around until it works, but I’m starting to get very bored of how frequent issues like this are becoming.
Spent another hour or so just deleting and redrawing every line 5 or 6 times and now it’s just magically gone?
Honestly, the loft tool when using guidelines has been the most frustrating experience I’ve had with this software, are there any useful tricks to better identify what may be causing issues?
Adding 4 lines to each corner is sometimes tricky and time consuming. You could try this method, just make curvature only on one side and shell the thickness you want.
