Is it possible to make a continuous groove/slot covering three faces of a cylinder like the example? The painted on green line shows roughly where it would go with the dashed line representing the hidden face.
Any thoughts on if this is possible yet? I can’t get my head around how the ‘round bottomed’ groove would be able to follow the filleted edges in a continuous manner that returns to the start point. Then again my skills are still very limited with no 3D background.
You can sweep using the edges of the cylindrical face, and cut out the swept body.
