M4 pro vs m4 max

I’m about to get a new MacBook to use with shapr3d and other programs for 3d printing.

Shapr stood out to me because of its iPad integration and I currently have a 12.9 6th gen.

I was choosing between the m4 pro 48 GBs of ram or the max with 48 GBs.

I know the max brings with it double the memory bandwidth. But does shapr3d take advantage of that? The price difference is nearly 700 so I really want to know what additional benefits I would be getting with the max.

I looked this up while back, the answer is from the STAFF.

Here it says 32gig of ram for complex projects.

I get the ram needed for complex projects. I’m definitely getting 48 GBs of ram. My question was related to memory bandwidth and if shapr3d was equipped to take advantage of the increase.

Only application I know of is DaVinic Resolve. Depending on what you’re doing with lighting and such.

Everyone who gets the max talks about how smooth it is. But doesn’t actually give any actual data on hardware usage. As the staff pointing out at some point every configuration possible will hit a wall.

It would be helpful if I could get a little feedback on system specs and when that wall was hit. Think layers in procreate.
