Missing reference in sketch, how do I fix it?

I haven’t used shapr3d in a while and opened it to start editing an old design that was working just fine last I remembered.

I tried to create a drawing from it for the first time and part of the geometry just wouldn’t render in the drawing. I noticed that there was a “missing reference” error in one of the early sketch layers.

I went into it and tried to figure out what the issue was but it is very unclear what was missing. The sketch did have some unconstrained parts to it, but I resolved those and the error still wouldn’t go away.

I don’t know what to do as there seems to be little to no information as to what is going on here.

I can’t share this design publicly, but I’m happy to share it with staff to troubleshoot.

Here’s a screenshot of the issue after fully constraining the sketch.

Does anyone know where to look for information about what’s wrong with this?

Best to submit a trouble ticket for that.

That’s the thing that doesn’t make sense. All the geometry was there. It was just reporting a missing reference.

I ended up re-creating the sketch from scratch and modifying the feature that depended on it to use the new sketch.

Time consuming, but the error is gone and the geometry is the same as it always was.
