Nodes, little circle on the end of a line, whatever

This is driving me crazy…

I draw a straight line.

I then touch on the little circle, and draw a second straight line,
extending the original line, no bend, no angle change,
so I have a longer line.

How on earth do I get rid of the middle node.

I hope it is called a node.

You can’t, Shapr doesn’t combine the lines, it will treat them as separate lines. The only way to do it is to make a third line from the furthest points. Then you can select the nodes and it will delete the inner shorter lines.

Edit: Additionally instead of drawing another line you can just select the node and move it the amount you need.
