And once you disconnect it, you gotta draw a new line to reconnect again.

What are your snap settings? Should be able to snap to a point… (not sure I understand the problem or what you are trying to accomplish. First coffee of the day so…)

In Shapr, the “magnet” bottom right.
I worked my way out by creating 3 sequential lines and stabilized the angle between at 180
