Trying to delete the Pattern Constraint but the icon does not appear when selecting the pattern item. This is happening in sketch mode. Any idea why?

Are you sure that you are in Sketch Mode? When selecting sketches on the canvas Sketch mode is not automatically activated in the current release, Sketch mode should be activated by picking Sketch in the menu.
However this Sketch entering behaviour will be changed in the next release (5.370) to the former behaviour.
