Please Remove the For Educational Use Only Popup

The problem that this feature will solve: The recent update introduced a persistent “For Educational Purposes Only” popup that obstructs the viewport. This overlay was not present in previous versions. It now blocks a portion of the screen that was previously usable, creating visual noise and hiding geometry. Because this is a regression in the user interface, it feels like a downgrade in usability compared to the version I was using previously.

Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature: I expect the UI to revert to its previous behavior. Please remove the persistent on-screen popup. If the status needs to be shown, please keep it in the menus or title bar as it was before, rather than as a floating element over the workspace.

What can’t you achieve without this feature? I can no longer use the full screen real estate that I had access to before the update. It is slowing me down because I now have to rotate the model to see details that are being covered by the text—something I did not have to do in the previous version.

Same! This ‘new feature’ is very annoying. Its also not very eye appealing when trying to show the program off to other students.

It gets really annoying after a few hours. And disadvantages smaller screens. Those who seek to abuse the educational licence will do so regardless, because the annoying popup doesn’t actually stop you from using it for non-educational purposes. Everyone else suffers…
