Read-only mode

Oftentimes, I’ll open a project just for reference but I don’t want to change anything about the project. For example, as it is now, even just rotating a body causes that rotation to be saved.

I’d like to see a read-only option for these instances. I’d still like to be able to show and hide elements and pan/zoom/rotate, but I’d like the project to revert to the saved version upon exit.

The way I handle this today is to duplicate the project, add TEMP to the name, then delete it when I’m done using it.

This is a great idea which would even save Shapr3D some bandwidth and wear-and-tear on their servers.
